Mulaney snl. I can't wait to see this movie. It's so interesting and it gives a feel of legendary. (What would have happened to this world without Disney. Is there anyone who thinks this too. Almost never in the movie has she talked about what she wants or desires, but instead focuses on what she needs to do. She doesn't complain about being trapped in box, but rather acknowledges the rules and traditions, tries to bypass it so that her father doesn't have to die. Mulan isn't a rebel trying to break the mold or start something revolutionary, but a young woman who chooses to leave what could possibly be her comfort zone, and do what is best for her family.

Earlier in the film, the Emperor was defiantly refusing to bow, and even says (to Shan-Yu's face) The Mountain cannot bow to the wind. From what we see here, the Mountain doesn't bow to the wind, but it DOES bow to Fa Mulan. The significance of this scene is undeniable. In a day and age where women were treated as second class citizens (at best) and where the ruling Emperor was considered the Son of Heaven, and that HE bowed to HER (a commoner) is a powerful indicator of how much she's changed.
